First, explain 'them'. Then answer the question. Also, I need to know why the Romans wanted to take over 'there' empire.

I assume 'them' 'there' ar ethe Jews, but am not sure myself.

"them" and "there"? (supposedly "their") refer to ancient Israelites. Christianity was the turning point of "them" people who were influenced by Paganism and Idolatry at the time. Romans conquest was no different than the time of Alexander the Great.

i cant really understand "them." um if it's jewish people, Constantine's "Edict of Milan" allowed religious toleration for all religions, primarily christianity. so my guess is with the allowance of all religions (with Christianity being the primary one), it also allowed Jews to practice their religion too without being harmed.
