i have flash pro and i was working on a project i published it and deleted the file ur able to edit everything in. Now i want to edit it but i cant because i dont have the file is there a way to edit the playing file (.swf) ?

You cannot edit .swf files; you can only edit .fla files and then the .fla files will generate the .swf files. If you only have the .swf files, you can try downloading a decompiler to decompile your .swf file back to .fla file. However, here are some limitations to the decompiler,
1) Adobe has tightened up their compiling logic. So, there may not be a whole lot of decompiler that works well.
2) Let's say there are text in your Flash movie. If the author put the text there as text, that's one thing; but if the author created those text as images in Photoshop and then just embedded those images in Flash, then you will have a problem retrieving those text in your decompiler.

You cant really edit swf files. You might be able to using a decrypter or decoder. Try searching online for one.
