I'm 15 and lately I've been having a funny feeling in my chest. It doesn't really hurt and it's only slight, but it's constant and kind of uncomfortable. I've been a vegetarian for about a year and I try to be healthy, but I don't exercise much because I never really get the chance due to a busy schedule. I'm starting to worry that there's something wrong, but, on the other hand, I can be paranoid at times. I'm afraid that there's something wrong with me, that I'll have a heart attack or something. I haven't told anyone about it and I found out that when I lift up my breasts—I wear a size 38 C in bras, and I'm not trying to be perverted—that the pain goes away. Also, I've been having back pains for as long as I can remember. My parents gave me suggestions a long time ago, and I tried them, but the pain is still there. What's going on? What's wrong with me?

Also, my mother cooks all the time, so I eat at home most of the time and rarely eat fast food, but lately my family has been eating out a lot.

your breats could be too heavy for your frame. Especially if the pain goes away while wearing a very supportive bra.

Sounds like the breast heaviness issues, but also possibly anxiety. It's a major cause of chest pain. Making time to exercise is important. Also, make sure that being a vegetarian is okay for you. Some people really shouldn't, and it can take a year or more of inadequate amino acids to start feeling the effects. Check with your doctor, or maybe read the book EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE (Catherine Whitney and others).

Not sure if i should venture into this territory but......... A few years back my wife had similar problems and it was eventually decided that a breast reduction was necessary to alleviate the soreness and back pain. It made a huge improvement to her quality of life. However Due to your young age it might not be suggested unless medically warranted due to the possibility that the ducts that allow milk to flow for breast feeding may be impaired. But if you see a specialist you will find out more professional information on the pros and cons of a breast reduction. Best of luck . Just a side note........if the condition you experience is enhanced after a meal especially if you lie down or do any strenuous activity in an inverted position (bent over with your head lower than your mid-section) as in tying your shoes. It might be an acid reflux condition. But please seek professional medical help to be on the safe side and not just from all of us here. We just want to help. Get better soon :)

I agree with bitter_baby28. A 38C may seem like a good fit, but the discomfort & pain you are felling are saying something different. You need to go a lingerie store, or lingerie department in an up-scale retailer and ask for fitting help. If you really are a 38C, it may just be the quality of bra you are wearing. You may need to switch to an underwire, or possibly a push-up bra for extra lift.

I think you need to get a properly fitted bra. Trust me, i am bigger than you are and get the exact same feelings. Your back hurts because you are trying to compensate for what you are carrying at the front.

It could be gas. Gas can travel throughout your body. If I were you, I would stay away from gassy veggies for a couple of days and see what happens. Cabbage, green peppers, and so forth are gassy.
