The criteria for meassuring successful outcomes are time, cost and probablility of success. That is what time frame in which you can hope to succeed, the cost invloved and the chances of you succeeding once you start the effort.

- someone who has a vivid " success" plan in mind

Also, a successful outcome is:

- satisfying
- making you proud of yourself and what you have done
- never regretful of anything despite the many sacrifices done
