I start the first week of Nov. like now before it gets too hectic right after Thanksgiving. Then I sometimes go shopping out of season it's so much cheaper that way.

I usually start pretty early. The more I spread my Christmas shopping out, the less it seems to hurt my wallet. I guess because I'm not buying everything at once. I've started it as early as July before!!

I have already started mine - few weeks ago. Always looking for the perfect present. Also now there is bigger choice Christmas cards. I'm simply trying to avoid the last minute rush, long queues & crowded shops.

Any time during the year. I may see something great in March so I'll buy it and save it until Christmas.

I don't have an official date. All depends on when I get some money to start.

There is no "official" date. Start whenever you want, although you seem to get better sales the longer you wait!
