"Alone Again (Naturally)" by Gilbert O'Sullivan. Google this song and read the lyrics, you'll see why it's the saddest song ever. A close second is a country song called "Blind Man in the Bleachers". I don't recall who sang it, but even though it's cheesy, it's still sad.
