I don't even pay attention to either any more -- I just answer and get my 2 points -- but I answer the "am i pregnant" questions with a little more detail because it could be someone who just wants some advice without having to get some of the ignorant responses that i have seen from people. Its a PREGNANCY FORUM asking the question "AM I PREGNANT?" is more than expected.

Here's something new, I bet none of you knew about pregnancy!!!

Dear Experts,

I was wondering if you could get pregnant even if u havent gone through your period yet?

Yes, it's possible. Here's how it works: A woman can become pregnant when she ovulates for the first time — when her ovaries begin to release eggs. Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before a woman's period begins. So it's possible that a woman may ovulate and get pregnant before she gets her first period. Once a woman begins to ovulate, pregnancy can happen when ejaculate or pre-ejaculate gets in the vagina or on the vulva.

Hope this information helps!

Well I am a expecting my first baby I am now 37 weeks and still a little nervous sometimes it is nice to have some advice from men and women on here that have experienced child birth before. I'm sure all women no to ask there doctor what is in the best interest of the baby and themself. but as I said it is nice to hear different opinions. when I first became pregnant I had know idea either what was happening to my body and sometime seeing your doctor every 4 weeks is along time to wait with know advice to calm your nerves.

I whole-heartedly agree with you. Like I said earlier - I answered 80-90% of my questions with "take a pregnancy test" or "ask a doctor".

It does get very annoying and makes you wonder what they are teaching as far as sex ed in schools these days.

All of us who are tired of these questions should ask Yahoo Answers to make a section called "Am I Pregnant" so that way the "Pregnancy" section can be used for women WHO ARE ACTUALLY PREGNANT AND HAVE VALID CONCERNS AND QUESTIONS!!!!

I think that you should just ignore those questions, if you're tired of answering them. Do you go back and research past questions before you ask a question to see if it was already asked? These women just post their question, not looking to see if someone else already asked their same question. Stay away from the questions if you're sick of them.

simply curiosity before wasting money! Some questions have obvious answers, but others just want input from those that have previous experience in that particular situation!

First time mothers are always nervous. I remember those days. Thank god they are long past.

If it bothers people, they don't haver to read the category.
