it's like a balloon, fill it with air and it gets big, let the air out it gets flaggid (soft).A mans penis acts the same way but with blood

The MALE penis, glad you got that straight, looks different when its not erected. Sort of like a Krispy Kreme donut.
When it gets hard, it looks like a penis. Is this normal, or just me??

Some do and some don't. One of my roommates and I are both 'growers' in that ours get quite a bit larger when we get erect. Yet our other rommate is a 'shower' as his remains almost the same size limp and erect; it just gets hard.
But in general most guys when they get erect do get longer and possibly thicker. the penis fills with blood and that makes it both erect and hard. all in mother nature's design.

Why does a tire look flat without air. We make it that way so you have to blow it up to make it get bigger. If it was big all the time, guys couldn't think we wouldn't have enough blood rushing to our head.

It's smaller when it's not 'in use' because it can be tucked away safely. Then when it's needed .it becomes large enough to safely 'do the job'/ What could be more logical?

could it be something to do with the fact that it ACTUALLY IS bigger when erect - DUH!!!
