Every day I log on to Yahoo and the first thing I see is the number of dead today in Iraq. First of all, why do they think we need to know an exact count (they being the media in general) as if we're all keeping tally and it means something? Thoughts? Is anyone else sick of this?

I've often wondered why the press doesn't also keep a running tally on how many Americans are senselessly killed in St. Louis, Detroit, or Oakland every month

Grown immune to those reports. Actually I don't believe the numbers, How many people are in Iraq anyway? Many have fled to Syria, Jordan, and Iran, and there is a number of them going about their lives virually untouched by the war, Shias suburb [slum area] is in rubble [evening news report] Have gotton the impression of a genocide, and don't like to say much about Iraq cause of so many conflicting reports.

Are you serious? You guys want to make a huge deal over a mis understood joke by a guy that isn't even running for office, and the deaths of our troops in Iraq is no big deal to you. Are all republicans lowlifes?

Yes, we are all sick of the war and sick of seeing young soldiers die in vain. This message needs to go to congress and the president, so they know the American people do not want to see more young lives wasted in a war that we should never have started.
The media is right to keep the people informed of the mounting numbers of dead. If we insulate ourselves from this bad news, then we give our support to a war in ignorance. We need to know the costs of our country's actions.

I am sick of the deaths of anyone there. Someones son or daughter or father or husband could be one of those dead numbers and regardless of the feelings it brings to each of us that has to hear the amounts I am always saddened knowing someone somewhere is now mourning a loved one.

It's not about being insensitive. Of course it's horrible that people are dieing, but to treat it like a head count or tally seems insensitive.

I don't care to hear a daily tally of dead muslims, just let me know when they kill the last one!

Do you care to know about the Americans that are killed everyday in Iraq? All the deaths are senseless.

It is important. We need a way to demask Mr. Bush, a.k.a "Mr. Danger" or as the devil himself.

I don't know what on earth to say to you.
You are insensitive, hurtful and (I have to say it) ignorant if you don't want to know how many soldiers and Iraqis are dying in this WAR the US is in. We are at WAR!
FOOL!
