How do I clean oil stains on a cement drivway? Is there anything that will just take those stains right off?

Thanks in advance.

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF THINGS FROM THE AUTO STORE THAT WILL DO THE JOB, BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT ANY LAUNDEY SHOPE( POWDER NOT LIQUED) WILL DO A VERY NICE JOB.
WET THE SERFACE FIRST SPRINKLE ON THE SOAP LET STAND A FEW MINETS BRUSH WITH A FLOOR BRUSH ANS IT WILL BE GONE.

Depends on a few things as to whether they will come "right up". If the oil is the usual old black motor oil and has been sitting there awhile it is in the concrete and takes strong stuff to get it up. Best I have used is what service stations have used for decades to get oil off their concrete. It is called "wildcat cleaner" and comes in a bucket. Is yellow powdered granules that you spread on the oil stained concrete after you have first wet it down. Then scrub it with a broom or brush a little and let it sit. Turns green when it hits the water and has acid in it so will burn skin, feet, and also damage clothes if get much on them. After it sits but not letting it dry out can then hose it off. Pressure washer will help if it is really old stain. There are all sorts of other solutions listed on the internet on Yahoo search, but I haven't done many of them. Wildcat can usually be found at Carquest or O'Reilly, or Napa type stores. Not sure if any of the cheapo discount places like Auto Zone carry it or not. Might check though as if they do probably have it in smaller sizes.

This particularly works i take advantage of it each and all the time. conceal the oil stains with new powdered cement, no longer concrete combination, cement. enable it set 5 or 10 minutes, scratch it around and into the stain with a backyard hoe or scraper it will seem as though new...

kitty litter or Sta-dry from auto parts store works for me. I've even used white port-land cement in powder form on a dry surface as a follow up.

if you try kitty litter the oil will have to be fresh and still wet--

if dry, you can rent a pressure washer at "HOME DEPOT" connect it to your garden hose turn it on ~pressure washer hose is hard to control the first few times. some run with gasoline--- the pressure can be controled with a little lever. -good luck-

Kitty litter will soak some of it up. Try putting a baking soda pasted on it and let it sit for an afternoon. Then power-wash it.
