I use this whipped light brown glittery eyeshadow from Avon and them I buy the cool brown shades from Covergirl! I have hazel eyes so I personally wear brown. The best eyeshadow depends on your eyes and complexion! Walgreens has a return policy on it"s makeup if you buy it try it and don"t like it bring it back and tyr something elsze,save your receipt! I use NYC, Covergirl and Maybaleen (can't spell at the moment). I like them. I use the power ones. I also suggest it's not so much the brand that counts but the shade you use, the tools you use to apply it with (buy some of the make-up brushes they work wonders compared to the little things you get with the eyeshaow kits) and it also depends if you re-do your make-up and only apply the amount you need.

Personally I LOOVVEE the HIP products. They're a little more expensive than alot of the other eyeshadows, but it is def. worth it. They have fantastic colors, and the color last alll day, no kidding.
