Alice Paul was best Friends with Lucy Burns. They fought to get the Right to Vote the 19th amendment. They founded the NWP ( National Women's Party) and got the amendment passed so women had the right to vote in 1920. HBO did a great movie on this called Iron Jaw Ladies, you should check it out.
