It's hard to say sometimes you can be dilated for weeks before you go into labor. But I think once your plug comes out your water should break. You'll know when the plug comes out because it will be a lot of mucus, and it won't slowly drip it will be a glob or something.
Hang in there, walking will definately help move things along.

I was 3 cm dilated for 3 weeks. I had the membranes separated to try to speed up labor too but it didn't work--my daughter was still 9 days late. My water didn't break either--the nurse at the hospital broke it at 9.5 cm. I passed mu mucus plug a week before she was born. So to answer your question, the baby will come when he or she is ready. I know you're uncomfortable so I hope it's sooner, but be prepared that it may be later. You'll know when you're in real labor. It differs from Braxton Hicks in that the contractions will increase in intensity and frequency.

I am also due on the 10th. I am 4 cm dilated and when he "stretched you out" he probably stripped your membranes. That will make you loose your plug. Probably within two weeks. I have been a 4 for 3 weeks. I am tired of being pregnant and I get to be induced on Tuesday...Hooray! Anyway, even when he did that to make your plug come out, it could be a little while.

From what you're telling me, it's a wait-and-see game. Since you've never natuarally gone into labor, it could be a while, but on the other hand you're already 3 cm dialated. I think I can safely say it might be a day or two before your due date at the earliest.

I was tired too towards the end of my pregnancy so I induced myself, I used my manual breast pump and wham!....Instant contractions, I was in labor from 7am-ish and delievered my son at 2:30pm the same day. I did this at 37 weeks and things worked out. This was my first pregnancy, i figure at your third this should work, what you got to lose?....You are so close you wont be doing baby any harm, so try it. I also hear that foot rubs help, the pressure points on your foot does the trick. Good Luck

everyone is different you could be 3 cm dialated for the next 3 weeks or 3 hours, when your body is ready it will happen or you will just have to be induced again, good luck

My 2d being pregnant became a ask your self. My son became eleven months previous whilst we found out. Do I wish shall we've waited longer? sure, in some tactics I do. I wish he would have been potty experienced and speaking greater desirable earlier my daughter became born, yet now that that's a certainty, i does no longer replace it for something.

I was 3cm dilated at 36 weeks, and 4cm dilated at 40 weeks. I gave birth at 41w.1d (first baby). My friend wasn't dilated at all before she began labor. So, I guess it varies from woman to woman. If it's any consolation, my labor was pretty short...8 hours 9m from the time I woke up because of contractions until I delivered, which I've heard is pretty quick for a first labor.
