yeah that happens to me all the time
i talk to my "friends" but they dont seem to be a "friend"
or even family
i feel like i cant trust my friends or family
with your friends or family you feel like your not connected to them even though your talking and they are right there
they dont treat or look at you as a family
they look at you like an outsider and that sometimes makes you feel not wanted so you end up getting used to it that you really dont care. you become very numb to it.
ppl like that wont care about you or care about your issues.
i have dealt with that personally almost all the time
hey wanna be my friend ?

First of all I'm sorry that you are feeling that way..It's no fun for anyone. Yes I have had times where I felt that I did not fit in and I was lost in the background so to speak. I don't know about you but I had a problem with shyness for awhile and eventually people were so used to me being quiet that if I did speak up I wasn't heard. Perhaps it's a phase you are going through and that you are feeling self conscience or perhaps there is a self esteem issue. Not saying that there is I'm not trying to diagnose you. I just know that was part of my feeling that way too. Eventually it will pass, you won't care what people think and you will only be concerned for yourself. Look out for #one (you)!! You are the company you keep so if your friends are not making you happy or making you feel like you belong with them and fit in...maybe they are not the right friends. As for family, they will always be there for you even if you think they are not listening I'm sure they are. Hang in there, it can only get better..At least you can acknowledge the fact that this is happening and that's half the battle!! Take Care!!

OMG.. i am going through the same ordeal dred..!. Its like you want to but to me i feel like maybe im expecting to much out of them.. Im a very caring person, so its impossible for me not to care about my friends and be there for them, but as soon as i may need them, its doesnt seem like they are there equally for me as i to them. I dont kno what is the solution to this problem.. These things always happen to nice ppl.. ARG!

I just stareted a new job and feel really left out no matter how many attempts I make. I actually cried about it today. I feel your sadness. I'll cry for you too. Plus I have PMS, so I could cry a river. A true friend lies within yourself.
