Barry Manilow's voice is one of those 1 in a millions voices. I liken him to Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Celine' Dion, Bono, Aretha Franklin. Case in point these vocalist have 1 thing in common, their voices aren't COOKIE CUTTER.

Say what you will. Manilow is a songwriter, not a singer, by nature.
He can carry a tune.
And he's acheived far more than any of these sound alike jerks today who cant sing.
Barry has paid his dues. I'm not his biggest fan, but he's okay.

I wouldn't say it's terrible. Maybe not the best voice I've ever heard, but certainly not the worst either.

I'm going to be honest with you. I don't think that his voice is what it use to be. He use to have a beautiful voice but it's somehow changed and it's not as good now as when he first started.

I thought it was just me! I don't think his voice is 'terrible', but I have certainly heard better.

I think his voice is awesome. I wish my husbands' was as good as he loves to sing ..... often!

I hate his songs but he sings good. Better than most singers around today.
