um they are two different subjects you are talking about here. Two wrongs not making a right is a fact-of-life whereas; two negatives making a positive is merely mathematics. And it is only when you multiple the two numbers. But if you add two negative numbers...u still get a negative

Well, two negatives don't make a positive. When two wrongs make don't make a right, you're ADDING the wrongs to try to get a right. If you add two negatives together, you still get a negative. You have to multiply negatives to get a positive.
