Not only are they all the same but I am embarrassed to admit that I often get sucked into watching them with my wife. Don't forget about the others ones that involve the rapists, the anorexics, or the murder for hires. Also, it's hilarious how all the same actors seem to do most of the movies, i.e. Meridith Baxter is in like half of em.

Personally, I refer to Lifetime as "The Wounded Women's Channel," and yes, I totally agree that all stories are the same. You should really check out a book by an author named Lori Notaro. She's a humor author and she has an entire chapter about this very subject.

Everyone for years said that it was a Cinderella story of this man comes and saves her and takes her to his castle or farm or villiage in the suburbs. Then they went to this women being a secretary and stealing this man from a mean wife.
Women protested that! Then they got strong women who held positions like nurses and doctors and guys fell for them.
Now it is women getting good jobs and meets this guy and he talks them into giving up carreers and positions and then turns out to be a serial killer or wife beater and womanizer.
It is a womens channel. Everyone is telling me this, havent watched it that much myself.

I agree. All of the movies are the same.
I call it either "The Woman in Danger Channel" or "The Tori Spelling Channel" (since she made a lot of movies like this).
I never watch this channel. The movies are horrible.

Trust me, it isn't just you. My aunt and two cousins *both female* literally will sit on the couch and watch Lifetime all damn day. I can't do that...I feel my brain start to rot after twenty minutes. Like you said, the women have unhappy lives or have teenage daughters who are way too promiscuous for their own good and end up either getting raped, kidnapped or stalked.

isn't lifetime
there
for women who are looking for a particular thing
and well,
they find it at lifetime.
so I guess they've found what they are looking for....
better to have their fantasy there
than to bring it to men in the real world..
.
.
I leave them to themselves..
