From my late teens until present a majority of my friends where either in Corrections or Law-enforcement. So a "Punk" in the institutional society would be the guy who is, well Punked.

To be honest, I think of a rather unattractive guy who is weak, frail, and rediculously stupid trying to rob me with a knife. I also think of the guy that is raped in jail all the time.
I know there are some guys who consider themselves "punk" cause they like punk rock, but I really don't feel that label. Sorry.

i think of all my friends that are punks and kinda laugh to myself. My opion of them is they are genrally good people that act,dress and talk the way they do becase they can and for no other reason.
