Leaving things to the last minute, eh? Life in Luxembourg is probably not much different than any other western city.

Any newcomer will be impressed with the outward appearance of Luxembourg. Homes and properties are kept in good repair; gardens, forests, and vineyards are carefully groomed; beautiful flowers abound; and litter is noticeably absent.

An effort is being made to restore and preserve old homes and buildings in the original style. The result is a lovely blend of old world charm with modern comforts.

The wheels of business often roll at a very relaxed, almost leisurely pace. Things will get done in the due course of events. Local businesses are rarely in a hurry to get paid for their goods or services.

Soccer and bicycle racing are very popular sports. Walking is an activity enjoyed by nearly everyone, with literally hundreds of kilometres of well marked walking paths stretching throughout the beautiful forests in the Grand-Duchy.
