No. And doing so wouldn't speed up your Internet. If you have a wired connection in your computer, your computer will detect that and your wireless connection would be disabled. When you use wireless, you are dividing Internet amongst everyone in the network. The fastest Internet would be to use a LAN cable, and connect directly to a modem (and bypass the router all together). But if that isn't doable, then you'll have to deal with those bandwidth issues.

Sorry man.

this would appear like an glaring answer, yet because you suggested utilising DHCP, verify your community settings to substantiate you at the instantaneous are not getting a static IP particularly of having the computer fetch an IP presented by technique of the router's DHCP server. commence > Settings > administration Panel less than community connections, correct click on your instantaneous adapter and click on homes on the bottom. contained in the list contained in the hot window, elect TCP/IP and click homes. make certain both between the options are set to their first thoughts. Have it "acquire an IP address immediately" and also "acquire DSN server address immediately". If the problem remains there it might aspect out a challenge with the router's DHCP server. yet considering that your different pc doesn't seem to have any difficulty connecting to the internet I doubt that that is an difficulty with the way the router is configured...
