I have a 28 day cycle. On day 14 where ovulation begins, if you try and conceive, and lets say "the egg was fertilized" on that day, then on day 28, would this be the time where you would "miss" your first period. Or do you have to wait for the next month?

On day 28, when your period would usually show up, if you concieved it wouldn't show up. If you have a period, it means the egg wasn't fertilized, and you'll have to try again.

If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.

Early signs of Pregnancy:

Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs. Keep in mind that some women(very few) still have their period while pregnant, so if you feel like you are pregnant or have a lighter than normal period...take a test.
