I'm no dummy... I know people cut, lie cheat, steal their way in line. I was there for the PS2 drop. Where's the most civil location I can safely wait overnight?

I'm actually in Palo Alto, so San Jo would be a nice alternative. People have told me Metreon, but somewhere more low-key would be preferable, since I can already picture the lines starting sunday.

Get out of the bay area
I live near a best buy in San Jose and when the PS2 came out people were camping out for two days and the lines were HUGE
go outside the Bay, I found the lines shorter there

It's not very safe anywhere you go. I heard about people getting robbed when the xbox 360 came out, imagine how bad it'll be for the PS3? I'm just gonna wait until it all calms down.

Theres really no 'safe' spot. I would just pick a place and wait it out, or just wait a couple days for the demand to die down a bit.
