I believe that a man could be overwhelmed with emotion at the birth of his child. If the relationship between husband and wife were strong before the pregnancy/birth I believe that the birthing experience and the joy of raising a child would only strenghthen that love.
If there was a lack of love before the birth of the child I think one would be fooling oneself that by bringing said child into the world would force a husband to love his wife.

This is only a personal opinion, I dont have any kids I am actually trying to get pregnate. I think that having a baby, or trying to make a baby is one of the most beautiful gifts in the world. I think if a man watched his wife bring their baby into this world it could make them fall back in love all over again..hope it helps to at least raise your spirits.

Absolutely not. He may fall in love with the baby, he may be amazed by the wonder of birth, he may be carried away by emotion of seeing their child born, but love between two adults is much more complicated than that. The relationship will not change from "not love" to "love" based on witnessing childbirth. Perhaps with long term counseling an adult relationship can re-gain what was lost.

Witnessing the birth of your child definitely does something to a man, does it make them fall back in love is something all together different. The man may admire you, respect you, something along those lines but fall back In love depends on your situation. Don't let me discourage you, your case may be different. Child birth does create a bond between parents though.

You need to look at her having your baby in a different way. She brought a bundle of joy into your life. I know it has to be hard and I would not understand this because I am a women. You need to look at your wife as a strong women for having a baby for you. You will eventually get over it.

Yes....Perhaps he was never completely "out" of love for you. Not only that, men get weird when they are expecting their first child..fear? This just made him realize what he would be walking away from. His family...His blood...The mother of his child. It is a sacred and powerful moment....Get some counseling.

He could probably appreciate her more. It is a pretty powerful moment. But I would guess that he just got caught up in the moment. Once the love is gone, it's gone.
