Nothing but an old wives tale. There is no proof or evidence that studdering is caused by tickling their feet as babies. Everyone always wants best for their children. That's why you will notice the shockingly high amount of old wives tales when it comes to children. Do what ever works for you and your child. But I tickled my son's feet all the time when he was a baby and he speaks perfectly clear now, not once have I ever heard him studder.

Old wifes tale!!!! Gosh there are so many!!! People back then were stupid lol. My mom used to tickle me until i cried and i dont studder. All 3 of my kids i tickled their feet allllllll the time and they are perfectly fine.

NO!!! I have 3 boys 9,5,and 2 years old.I tickled them and they talk as clear as a bell.Tickle those footsies and don't worry about it.
