Did you baby turn out to look more like you the mother or the father?

im 6 weeks prego and im so curious of how our baby is going to look. My boyfriend looks total opposite to me. He has dark straight hair, half polish,caucasian, puerto rican. And i have dark blonde curly hair, freckles, light skin. We both have light colored eyes.

Who did your baby end up looking more like?

Oh I think that my 2 sons look my like their father because of their pointed hair line, their and their noses, but they have bigger lips like my and big greenish blue eyes like moine so it really is a mixture. From my first son everyone tells me he looks like my brother (who looked alot like me when we were younger) then my youngest two get told they look like their father.

Don't worry about what your or his hair color is, my husband and I both have dark hair and ahve a bleach blonde son. Every baby takes things from both parents and comes out perfect so don't worry, just count the days to your ultrasound when you can first see your precious love. I'm sure he or she will be beautiful. My daughter is a light brown complexion that has sandy red hair and her eyes change colors that stay hazel most of the time. My great aunts and uncles have that eye trait. Her father has the red hair. I am brown complexion and her father is light brown complexion. She does favor me when I was a little girl but I have brown hair with red streaks. That really is my natural color. Believe it or not the shape of her hands and toes are just like my mother. Usually the first child takes after the father. So the child will probably look more like the father with your freckles. Congratulations! The thing is you can not just look at the mother and father you have to look at grandparents and aunts and uncles of the child.

The father I suppose. I have fair skin red hair. My husband has black hair, dark brown skin and green hazel eyes. Our baby is a beautiful light brown hair green eyes and medium skin tone. I like to think it all depends on who caries the stronger genes. In my case it was my husbands. I believe your baby will be a very good looking baby.

For 8 months, I wondered how my son was going to look. I'm dark skinned, and my boyfriend is light skinned....My son was born with blue eyes, which none of us had blue eyes, or was born with them. My son is now a combination of the both of us. He has hazel eyes but the shape of my eyes, his father's lips, nose, mommy's forehead. Curly hair like his dad, and his color of skin is in between the both of us, darker than dad, but lighter than mom...so he is both of us...and a BEAUTIFUL boy, and I'm not saying that because I'm his mom. Everyone in the street always says that whether they are african american, caucasian, of hispanic descent, they love him.

My baby is the spitting image of my baby pictures, so, right now, me. But it could change later on. Also, don't forget a baby can end up with the bone structure of one parent, but the coloring of the other.
My mom's parents were both short and fair with blond hair.
My mom had curly red (I mean, Ronald McDonald red) hair, and is 5'11". But her *features* look like my grandma.

My 8 year old, Has features belonging to both his father and I..His father is Guatemalan, So therefor, He is tan skinned, Black hair..Brown eyes...My son, Has tan skin, Black hair and brown eyes, But his facial features are more like mine...

My 18 month old, His father is white, Dark brown hair, Blue eyes, Tan skin, He's german and indian...I however, Have red hair and blue eyes w/fair skin...The baby- Has PLATINUM blonde hair, and blue eyes...He looks more like me than his father though..

Lol..It's hard to guess what your child might look like...They can pick up looks from generations back...

I am a walking science project, I am 33% English, 33% Honduran, and 33% native American, 1% crazy. I look like I could pass for Puerto Rican. My Son's father is bi-racial, half Irish white and half African American, our son can pass for White. As far as "looks" are concerned, I prayed that my son would look like me, and he does, all i did was pray and talk to my baby alot and asked God to help him have all my strengths and none of my weaknesses, you'll be fine, Congrats

I am black with medium to dark colored skin (for a black person) and my daughter's dead beat sperm donor was South Indian (India) with curly hair and the same color as me (considered dark for an Indian). She's a little lighter than me and mostly looks like me but with his Indian nose and big round eyes. But in general she looks more like me than him.

My son looks more like his grandfather and great grandmother than either me or his father (different father than my daughter). He is lighter than both of us and doesn't resemble me AT ALL.

hey. You baby will probably mostly be like his dad. The dark skin and hair and eyes always seem to carry on!
My baby boy is 1 now, and everyone has always said he looks just like his dad! Although if i compare all our baby photos, he looks like i did as a baby/toddler, but looks like his dad does now and not like his dad was as a baby. Its abit wierd how it all works! My baby got my colored eyes but her dads curly hair but she looks like me when I was a baby but when I was a baby but sometimes she does stuff and she looks exactly like her dad she is a split between the two of us but sometimes she looks like my mom
