is there a difference between the words ni**a & ni**er? does it matter who says it anymore? are there limits to how either is used?

No difference......also if blacks want others to stop using it they should stop using it their selves. Why would a race use such a derogatory name against themselves? Some say they have "taken it back" by using it with friends. That is silly, if you don't have respect enough for your race then no one else will.

I completely agree with pink. You don't hear white people going around calling each other honkey's, and cracka's. It's disgusting that our race thinks it's fine to go around callin each other ni**a's. How can you get mad at another race for using the same racist terms when you are saying it to your own people?

The difference is in the pronoucination. Its only a bad word if people get mad about it. Otherwise its just sounds made by pushing air through your throat

i dont think that it matters how you spell it, it is still offensive. i dont understand why it is okay for US to say the n word but if a white person says it we're ready to fight. we're disrespecting ourselves by using that word anyway.

Apparently it's okay for black people to say ***-ga, not ***-ger.

Anyone else is forbidden to use either....
Hmm but i'm sure i've heard black people saying ***-ger.
