BMW is more expensive to own.
Go to Yahoo autos and put in a new 3 series and an RSX. You'll see the cost to own over 5 yrs when comparing two new cars. You can also compare maintenance cost over a five year period. You should have some idea what your current BMW's cost is.

A 93 3 Series is more expensive to deal with because BMW has a worse realiability rating than an Acura RSX.

Try going to Consumer Reports and pull-up the reliability ratings. Typically, Acura's have much better ratings than BMW's, are cheaper to buy, and cheaper to maintain. But, it all depends on what you're looking for in a car. BMW's are awesome cars, so are Acura's. I've had a Z3 before and now I have a 3.2 CL Type-S, loved them both. Drive them both and then combine that experience with purchase costs and Consumer Reports ratings to make the best decision for you.

BMW.
Acura is very easy to deal with. they just dont do rebates or anything like most dealers do..Bmw is alot more expensive and in my opinion NOT WoRTH IT!.
acura is cheaper to maintain too..parts are widely available too.
BTW the 06 is the last yr fro the RSX. it will be a TSX coupe.

i think rsx because 93 3 series is like a junk.you should sell that car and buy the rsx because rsx is the fastest car in game and the real one.

Couldn't tell you a thing about an Acura, but I have an old BMW 325 and I absolutely LOVE it. It's expensive to fix, but it's paid for and it still drives like a dream.

Acura. BMW's are just TOO much problems! You take a BMW in for one thing and you walk out with more thing fixed that you wanted to.

id pick acura, but bmw are also nice to own too. its just that bmw cost a little more for repairs and ya have to take it to the shop for certain things, while you can do most the repairs on an acura yourself.

For fuel economy and pricing, It would be an Acura, but for reliability, I'd say I wil go for a BMW.

Acura will definetly last you longer and be cheaper on the maintenance. My girlfriend owns a 2002 RSX Type S and she hasn't had a single problem with it yet.
