I'll pick the Lakers because they are the team I've always cheered for ~ they exceeded expectations last year and really had a nice push into the playoffs. They were the second youngest team last year, I think this year they will be very good.
Now. On to reality!
1. Chicago Bulls look really good.
2. LeBron's Turn, the world wants this kid to win, win, win.
3. Miami will tank. They relied on emotion and a fourth-quarter D-Wade every time, this can not go on.
4. I'd keep a wary eye on the Mavericks, they are very hungry and well coached.
5. It's the sunset years for the Spurs, so sad to see, what a great decade and what a great team.
6, Steven Nash won't three-peat the MVP, he's just too old and rickety. If Amare doesn't return to his old self, the Suns are way too soft in the middle.
7. The Clippers are better than everyone thinks -- I think they'll shock a few teams who discount them in the playoffs.
8. Detroit and the Pacers both are headed south.
9. I have a soft spot in my heart for Houston. I like Yao and Tracy, didn't they pick up someone? Shane Battier maybe? Some role player who'll really help that team. I've not seen them yet this year though.
So, I'll pick the Lakers over the Bulls in six games. Phil Jackson is a much better coach than anyone has given him credit for. Like Riles in the Showtime era, they think he just rolls the ball out on the court. Phil knows the 82 game season is just that, a long tune up time for the playoffs. His teams are usually peaking going into the playoffs instead of exhausted like so many eager coaches teams. Kobe proved himself with 81 points and a scoring title -- hopefully he's finally matured into an adult.

Miami hopefully James merits a hoop and needs to tutor people he's larger than Durant. the warmth will come out like they did in activity 6 and provide it their all. I reckon Wade could have a plenty extra desirable overall activity besides. maximum of this series he has got here out interior the 2d 0.5, the 4th quarter in activity 6 he replaced into sick. I guess he will make that his total activity in activity 7 and take Miami to finals to win all of it. yet once you're saying those 2 communities then Thunder reason thunder are staggering in protection and attacking.

The Knicks haven't lost once this year, I think a team that wins every game has a very good chance of winning the championship.

Obviously the Knicks, They really sucked last year but the new coach will make 'em a new team and they will just dominate the NBA cuz Stevie Franchise is the BEST!!!!!
Or the Bucks because Ersan Illyasova, the new guy, dominates!!!!!!!! and Boguts back Oh yeah!!!!!

I'm a Lakers fan, but I don't think the Lakers will win it this year ( I may be wrong) .
That being said, I'm picking the mavs to take it all this year, they were so close last year, I think they'll take it this year, 07 is the year for the Mavericks!!!
