in a liquid-they have no distinct order and move freely but cramped.
in a solid-they are in a fixed position.
in a gas-they move freely and are extremely active
in plasma- they move like gasses and liquids

Hi. In a liquid, gas, or plasma, answer 1 is correct. In a solid there is little or no motion.
