According to Dr. Phil...If you are lonely and miserable in a relationship then you are usually the one who needs an attitude adjustment. You are most likely the one who has changed your opinion with regards to your spouse. Your "paper" husband was "paper" and part of the package when you married him. You most likely knew what you were getting into at the time as well. Most likely he still feels the same about you as he did years ago. Most likely he does not even know there is anything wrong.

Boy, that's a tough one. First I would try talking to him and see whether the two of you can work this out. Maybe then he will begin to listen to you and talk with you. If nothing works, why don't you just get a divorce and continue with your life. After all, you know your paper husband better than I do.

I am assuming that you mean boring and plain. In order to make your marriage work you have to stimulate that love that got you guys together. Instead of staying at home, got out and have fun, or cook dinner for him, surprise him in the shower, etc.
Just try new stuff that both of you will love to do with eachother.

I take it that your husband works away from home a lot.
you really need to open up the lines of communication & let him know.
why do you feel that way when he is home?
how do you feel when he is away?
sounds like you really need to look at your relationship
get some counselling
