8 years is enough time for any president.

No president who sat through a real war has ever suspended an election - Lincoln, FDR, LBJ, others, not a one.

In this particular case, I don't see how the country could endure much more of this. It will be decades before this this mess is put right, and awfully expensive. The rise of the police powers of the state and the damage to consonstitutionally "guaranteed" rights may be irreversible.

GW wishes he could run again. I'm sure he will try to pass a law to extend term limits before he is done. He has already mentioned it.

I wish he could, just for the simple fact that we could see him lose in a horrible landslide. I personally think that if he had a little more power that he probably would change the laws to let him run again.

I wish NO ONE currently in office should be able to run again. It's time this country shook off the career politicians and started electing ordinary people with some common sense and no PAC ties to lead this country....of the people and for the people!

Personally I would rather see Clinton run again. I'm getting real
fed-up with this moral crap. We need some good ol boy hanky
panky stuff in the midnight halls of the White house like we used
to have.

No, I do not wish that the constitution be changed to allow his re-election.

I do hope that whoever is elected sees the importance of completing the mission in Iraq. To quit the effort would leave the region controlled by a roque terrorist controlled state which jeopardizes the security of entire industrialized free world.

You, and that's about it. It's obvious that a Democrat like me wouldn't vote for him, but I'm sure if he could run again the Republicans would nominate someone who at least could say one whole English sentence. Then again, they have a habit of nominating people like that. Remember Dan Quayle? POTATOE

I do, because it would bring me a great deal of joy to see this corrupt megalomaniac go down in crushing defeat.

all Republicans would vote for him again if they could. They care about tax cuts. They do not care about the harm Bush has done to our Country and they don't care about Bush failures.
