hi. i am a junior in high school and u know what? my life is really hard right now. I suffer from depression, i take 2 AP classes, and my parents expect me to earn straight As at all times. I have to take care of my grandfather and little sisters because my parents are never home. i also have two full grown german shepherds to take care of and on top of all this stress i manage to get all of my homework done and maintain a job as a sales person at a store in the mall as well as a 3.7-4.0 GPA. it's really hard living the way i live and working as hard as i do. then i come on this stupid site hoping to get help from ppl on some of my homework and u ridicule, embarrass, and put me down for asking for help. i only come on this site to ask for help with my APUS History h.w. sometimes and the ppl who have been answering me lately have been really mean to me. i hate it. for once i'd like to come on here and actually find someone who isn't just on here to put others down for asking for help.

This is just a short period of time in your life. Soon you will be off to college, a job, and moving out on your own. Things are going to get easier. Apparently, your parents don't appreciate the kind of kid that they have. They will when you're gone. Keep up the hard work. It will pay off in the end.

Wow your gpa is so awesome that you should get a scholarship of some kind. I think that you need to relax and take a deep breath.
ok, you should never ask for the full amount at one time. I don't mind helping someone, but when they post like 6 items, that is alot. If you post like 2 items that is ok. Later post a few more. that why one than one person will help.
I know AP classes are very hard. I took an AP english. the next year I enrolled in the college classes. Best thing I ever did I went to college all day and took 17 credits and it was sort of hard but with 5 classes not one was as hard as my AP class. I then had one full year to transfer to college.

Hate to tell you, but life is tough. Whenever you post something online in a public forum like this, EVERYONE will see it. From kids who can type and adults having mid life crisis. They will react to it how they see fit. The world is not a perfect place and it is full of imperfect people so more than likely... you are going to end up with imperfect answers. If you want serious help on your homework without the flack, I would suggest talking to your tutor at school or getting a study group together. Or... just develop a thick skin and ignore the people that are obviously on here just to waste time or blow off steam.

you know i would like to explain why this seems to happen! and you will "crack up really
first when i see a history question i become angered very quickly and answer vivid and angry about the usa history and here is why!
first sweetheart there is no American history but the northern continent history! you see and when you speak of american history i think of all the misstreatment the whites has cause and bought upon all other races in the world reallly you must know the damage that still makes one of color other than the white folk is why many get angry and try to tell you what you would never read in a book they glorify called A. History!!
girl keep up the good work but i tell you the history you read left out 90 percent of the blood sweat and tears the white man used to claim this land!
man it is nothing at all glorious about the history of America!
learn about the human mistreatment on the history!
and you shall see it is deep girl friend alright
we mean you no harm but we will not give you a nice response on such deviated actions for no reason at all place upon such good humans with real good hearts.
so boo' dont take it personally
just try to learn listen read all of it from the writters point
and I bet you will learn alot - alright

You need to find a group of people serious about assisting you, and avoid throwing yourself to the wolves on this site.
It's admirable for you to be responsible for all that you are, and yet maintain a respectable grade average. I know it takes time and effort, and you should be lauded for it.
Are you earning college credit for the AP's? I hope so.
I know a little about US History. If you'd like, email me through this site, and hopefully I'll be able to answer some of your questions. It's been a few years since I've been in school, so no guarantees, mind you.
Besides, all I've got to do is work for a living. I can stand the distraction.

Well said. I think some people on here are just miserable and have nothing better to do than put others down. I try not to be negative unless someone asks a rude, inappropriate question. Next time just type into your question " no rude or mean answers" maybe that will keep it down some. You sound like a hardworking good girl, keep up the good work. Don't let the nasty people on here get to you- there are plenty of helpful people who mean well. Good Luck

You do sound like you have your hands full. When you post your questions on here, put a line at the end, "no mean or rude answers, please." When you do get rude comments, just try ignoring them. Some people just have a bad attitude, but I find a lot of answerers really want to help people here.
Another place you can look for help if the public library. You can call them and some also help by email (check locally).

So what are you about 15 years old? You know, you should really be proud of yourself, you have a full plate and you are getting 4.0 GPA in school, I think that's wonderful. What are you doing about your depression?
Hard work makes you a better person, and if you can handle what you have here, I am sure you are going to grow up to be a wonderful person.

If U think u had it hard try going to school full time, living on your own, working every spare second ya got, having to worry if ya got enough money for food, and rent. But thankfully thats all over now. I graduated from H-school last june.
My best advice is talk with ur parents and let them know that u cant always be expected to live up th their (high) expectations.
It doesnt really matter wat ur parents goal for u is, cuz u have to live ur life, and complete YOUR goals,
not theirs.
PS I h8 to say this (as its Overused) BUt sooner or later things will be much better
