Go to court if you have to. The only way he'll get any kind of custody is if he's got a place to live and if he's making money to support the baby. If you can prove that he is unfit, then there will be no problem and nothing for you to worry about. Good luck, sweetie!! *hugs*

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you will have to go to court but more than likley he will have some type of visitation with the baby. He can tell you he will not give you any money to help you but he has no choice in the matter the court will make him pay. But they will also work out some type of visitation so that he can also see his child they will not keep the child away from him no matter what. But there is no way to keep the baby away from him unless you can prove that he is going to be an unfit parent or he is abusive and then they still have the right to see the child just under supervision. The courts nowadays want to keep both parents involved in the childs life. I suggest gettin a lawyer and get the ball rolling with the even before the baby is born because if you don't have a court order and you do allow him to take the child even for a few hours if he does not bring it back there is not much they can do since there is nothing stating that you are the one that has the custody of the child. Trust me on this whole matter I know this from experience. I went through the same thing.

Good Luck and Best Wishes

Go to Family court and get the ball rolling. If he doesn't have a place to live, they're not going to let the baby stay with him, and he can't bargain with you about paying child support.

They all say they're going to get a lawyer and fight it, but that's a load of crap 99% of the time. Not only is a lawyer expensive, but they would just tell him that the only way to get even partial custody would be to get a stable job and home.

I would definitely not send the baby there unless u go with. U can get child support wether he like it or not. Go to the public aide office and they will help you with that. It is so hard for a father to take custody from the mother. They have to be able to prove you absolutely unfit and that is hard to do. I would say u don't have much to worry about. I would get some advise from a lawyer though. U can talk to a lawyer for free for the first visit to get his or her opinion. Hope that helped you.

first of all if he gets a lawyer then you get one just don't allow him to take the baby without some kind of custody worked out or he can get the baby and said you abandoned it. Second if he does get a lawyer make it know he doesn't have a place to live and third make vi sting rights for him but ask for eight er supervise or for him to be near you when he does.Good luck and God bless you.

You are this child's mother, which means for the next 18 years your number one priority is to protect the baby...DO NOT give it to him, under any circumstances. Let him get a lawyer, it will be a joke. Keep your life in order and be a good mother, and nothing will be able to come between you and your baby. Good luck.

Either way your baby's daddy has to help you. Yes he can fight for custody of the child, either partial or full. I would suggest getting advice from a lawyer b/c if he plans to take this to court you are going to need one. But he cannot deny you help if you have the child. He has to pay child support.

you have nothing to worry about, be the best mom you can be - and breast feed :) if you breast feed, the baby cannot be away from you! Bottom line! If you are being the best mom you can be, and he doesn't even have a place to live, there is NO way a judge would put a kid in that situation.

no judge in their right mind will give him any kind of custody until he can prove he lives in a safe and healthy environment for the child. simple as that! hes all talk!!!! BARKIN LIKE A BIG DOG, PEEING LIKE A PUP i bet he doesnt do anything to you, hes just pushing your buttons...can you threaten him with statutory rape?!? just wondering?
