Medical Question - OB?

Question

Is there any legitimate medical reason for telling a patient to wait three months after a blighted ovum before trying to concieve again? If so, what it is?

I'm not an OB, but the reason is to give your hormones a chance to get straight. My friend ignored this advice (as did Brooke Shield) she suffered horrible post partum depression and had to be medicated.

I've also had friends get pregnant and be fine.
