When I take a shower the water doesn't go down drain properly. It just sits there and stays. Then it like drains really slowly. Should I but a bottle of draino and pour it down the bathtub drain?

My first guess is that it is hair clogging your drain. Before you spend money on expensive drain openers I suggest you try to remove the hair yourself. I have to do it all the time-no big deal

Try plunging it first. If there is not a screen on the drain, you might be able to use a piece of wire with a small hook or a pair of needle nose pliers to get the hair out. I use a wet/dry vac to suck over the drain, this will pull the hair and stuff up, making it easier to get out. Home Depot sell an item that's a long flat strip of plastic with barbs on both sides, that works well too. You can try the Drain-o, and if all fails, call a plumber. Good luck

I would use draino just to see if it works. If not call Rotor Rooter or any local plumbing company. But I would try the draino and even try to take it apart to figure out what's going on.

Most likely it's probably bunched up hair.

try plunging it but make sure you cover the little opening for overflow of water. One of the best products over the counter is called Clobber in this area. Most hardware stores carry it but you have to ask for it. Very potent and use care when using it. By the way bleach does the same thing as liquid plum.- you are just paying for brand name. My hubby's a master plum. for 20 odd years

Sure, that's what that stuff is made for. Use the goopy kind so it doesn't drain away too fast.
