o my gosh. i'm moving in january, and i already skipped a grade this year , which gives me a load more of trouble, because all my bestest , most loving peeps are still in 9th grade, but i'm in 10th grade now.. The cliques at our school are already formed, and i can tell they're not looking for new peeps in their grouup. i belong in a big group because i can't stand being alone, and i have to be surrounded by a group of people or else, i'll feel awkward!! but the truth is, i'm like, never shy in front of people i know, but when it comes to meeting new people, i'm shy as hell. please help, because i'm moving soon and i'll never get to see the friends i already have!! Please Help~!

truthfully the best friends you can have at your new school will aproach you but if you do happen to feel a little spontaneous ask people in your classes that sit close to you if they know anything about the teacher ie; are they mean, tough, assholes,etc. i know it sounds corny but it will get people to talk back to you

I agree with Daniel L. Join clubs that interest you. Play sports. Go to your school games. Just be friendly and know that everyone else feels much like you do. Look around your new neighborhood for people that go to your school and get to know them.

...you can make friends through lab partners or group projects. Students have to talk to each other, if for no other reason than to say 'this work sucks'. If you have clubs that you are interested in now, join at the new school.

ok see i just moved too and im at a diffrent school witch is cool. how to make friends well just wait they will come up to you. or like i did go up to them and talk that how you get friends

reach out, join clubs, get involved with school things. anything that interests you join the club for it.
