I've never watched the Kill Bill movies but I have watched Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs and I love them. I like the little things he puts in his movies.

In Reservoir Dogs if you look at things in certain scenes they pertain to the movie. Soap in bottles that are the colors of the characters in the scene...towels on the floor that represent the position of actors in a scene.

In Pulp Fiction the little race cars in the resturaunt represent the characters in Reservoir Dogs.

One of my favorite things about his movies are the conversations...they're completely pointless but they're REAL. I think that makes the characters the much more real. When they have conversations that really don't pertain to the current situation. Like the pork conversation in the end of PF or the foreign fast food resturaunt conversation.

Then when a Tarantino movie decides to be funny it is hilarious. When Vince shoots Marvin in the face...I love Vince and Jules reactions.

The way PF jumps around is cool too. The way you see things before they happen...but you still understand it completely...I love it.

Just a few reasons I love Tarantino movies...

Before he started to make movies, he used to work in a video store, meaning he watched a sh*t load of films, so he has a lot of references. That and the fact that he likes what he does. Reservoir dogs is a classic, pulp fiction won the highest title in the cinema world. The guy is very good.

As a viewer, the minute I start getting confused, I check out of the movie. Emotionally, I'm severed.

Most experienced directors have unique styles. Just like Kubrick's master of the wide-angle lens and hyper attention to ambient room sounds --- Tarantino's talent is in the way generally realistic hard-core characters interact through heavily episodic, well paced, dialog exchanges.

It's the knowledge and respect of every genre from the past 40 years. hollywood just makes formulaic movies to guarantee the money so a Tarantino film stands out a mile -he doesn't seem to give a sh1t if people like the films he makes he just makes them and people love him for it!
