there are several causes of period irregularity...hormonal imbalance, stress, endometriosis, fibroids. Its best to have it checked with your doctor especially if the flow is very little or a lot and accompanied with pain. Dont worry yourself unnecessarily...get it checked

Yesssssssssss. I'm not a doctor but Yesssssss.

There are a great deal of issues/problems that can cause this.

Have you been stressed or worrying about something?
Have you lost a great deal of weight?
Are you on the pill; there are some pills that will stop your period if you fail to take a certain cycle?

I would suggest that you see a doctor. It could be something really simple or something really bad that is causing the problem. I hope everything works out.

If your body is dealing with a great deal of stress, you won't have your period. If you have either lost a whole lot of weight or you are just plain underweight, you won't have your period. Your body has to have the right environment in order for it to function correctly. See your doctor, and if all seems good, maybe he/she will prescribe birth control to regulate you. Good luck!

Hi, if I understand correctly you have only just started getting your period most women go through what you are going through, when you first get your period its normal for it to be irregular, though I do agree that perhaps a visit to your doctor is a good idea, don't worry, but do get checked out. good luck

how many years have you had your period for? usually periods regulate within 2 years of your first period, but for some women, their periods never regualte. you could be pregnant, but probably not. check with a gynocologist. he could prescribe birth control pills, which many girls use to regulate their periods.
