5 dollars????? wow....my studio does it by the hour and gives discounts if you take several classes. One hour class is 120 dollars (for 8 weeks) where I take lessons. One single class is 10 dollars. It really depends on how long the class is, where the class is, how many classes they're taking. Look in your phone book for a studio near you, call the number and ask. Evey studio is different.

I am also a dance teacher and I am going to agree with the $35-$65 range depending on your location. My studio charges $36 per month for a 45 minute class for 3-4 year olds and $43 for a one hour class for 5 year olds. I am located in suburban Boston.

I am a dance teacher. Depending where you live dance classes for three year olds could be anywhere from 35.00 to 65.00 a month. I could not imagine dance class costing 100.00 a week nor 5.00 a week. 35.00 to 65.00 sounds reasonable. I hope that I helped you out.
