Yes, they are here among us, not always staying, maybe just seeing how we're dealing with out them, did ya ever feel a very slight air movement around you, the sweet smell of a flower that is not in bloom, or for no reason, just a thought of something from the past or left undone, but can't put your finger on it, do I fear ghosts or spirits no, we only should fear the living, hope this helps, just my thoughts

I do not discount the possibility that there are spirits among us. I have had some strange experiences which could be construed as "ghostly" occurrences....such as hearing footsteps going up the stairs, and then footsteps on the third floor above my old apartment, loud enough to wake me out of a dead sleep.....and no one was in the building and all of the doors were locked. I also caught a man on videotape while my husband and I were touring the mansion of the "White Witch" in Jamaica....he was several feet away from us and we were looking in that direction, and actually heard the floor creaking. No one was there at the time, but a man was there on the video. Really freaky. Those are but two examples of things I've experienced, so yeah, I can't discount the possibility ghosts are not real.

I think I have one in the house. We just had some keys go missing then a few days later they were right where they belonged. This has happened with different small objects before. I'm thinking of calling Mary Ann the ghost buster. She lives about 30 miles from here unless she has recently moved.

Yes
brother had a house built from old (1800-1900) parts of homes. I had taken pictures of house when it was finished. At one of the doors (an old screen door) I saw nothing when I took the picture, but when I developed it there was a light in the door, in another there was a women pushing the curtains back looking out. While living there that screen door would be open at times when we woke up in the morning.
No I used no flash, and no lights were on.
I worked in a hotel in New Orleans that use to be the home for the nuns. It was sold from under them. They said no business would never succeed in that building and to this day no hotel has lasted a year.....and at night you could hear voices, singing and bells yes I heard them

I agree with you. I am a baptist so I believe that when people die they to heaven or hell. I believe that God does not allow people to not come back as ghost. No way.

Yes.
I lived with one. My family rented a house from an elderly couple next door. I spoke with the old man whenever I saw him when I came home from school. He was an unhappy man. His wife's sister had moved in with them and they both didn't treat him very well. A short time later he died.
A little time after that, my sister and her boyfriend moved in and took the basement room. My sisters boyfriend asked my father why he was walking around in the basement after midnight. My father said there was no way he was down there. My mother confirmed as she was a very light sleeper and woke up anytime dad got up. This continued for some time.
Later they moved out and I got the basement room. I also got a siamese cat. I put a lock on the door of the room just in case. Then one night I heard it. A slow shuffling sound outside the door. I called out to my dad but no response. I noticed that the siamese cat had her back up and was making a low growling noise. Her eyes were wide open staring toward the door.
This happened a couple of times until one night, after hearing the shuffling again, whatever was there was pushing on my door. Suddenly the I saw the lock flip up and the door spring open. I jumped up in my bed staring at the door but saw nothing. Then I saw the cat next to me again with it's back up growling at the door and whatever it saw or felt was now causing the cat to foam at the mouth. It spat unbelievably loud at whatever it could see. I was frozen watching her and the door. Then, I heard the feet shuffling away. After a couple of minutes the cat lay down breathing heavily. I felt her chest and her heart was just pounding.
Eventually I came to the conclusion that this was old man Nohr's ghost walking around in the basement. He died very uhappy and I think his spirit didn't passover. But, I did know that I always was pleasant to him and spoke with him so I felt he would do me no harm. After that I left the lock off the door and didn't get up when I heard him.
This is no joke. It actually happened to me. I believe.

When I open up my intuitive side I can communicate with people that already crossed over. And I rely those messages to their loved ones.
At this stage, they're called spirits. Those people who haven't crossed over are called ghosts because they're earthbound and they aren't ready to go towards the light because of unfinished business or if they don't want to believe they're dead and so forth.

I do believe
But I'm guessing they are something the living mind creates to fill a need. Those kind are just as real and measurable as the Casper kind.
Hard science has offered no real evidence otherwise.
So then we get to faith and OUR ABILITY TO RESPECT other peoples faith....
