Change pads every 2-3 hours if you can, it's mostly from the deorderant smell from some of the pads. Just change often or use a tampon

menstrual blood all by itself is perfectly odorless before it leaves the uterus, but once it is outside, it is exposed to germs that make it smell. try changing your pad more often and see if that helps, or switch to tampons. you could also try scented pads, but these can cause infections for women with or without sensitive skin.
