i read in a magazine that when choosing your "partner" u subconsiously look for similar facial features in him/her that you have. what do yall think about it? its weird bc my people tell me that me and my bf look alike, and that we could pass off as relatives...kinda weird...i never noticed it till someone said something...

People tend to pick, not always those who look very similar, but those who compliment their own features,
People will go for intinctively what they know will be compatible to make alright looking kids.--

Or the theory could be wrong and it has something to do not with instinct, but with psychology, going for mates who look like your family members and those you associate good things and safety with.. -
Being part of your "tribe" in a way.. right? that could go for whether it's instinctive genetic or psychological causes.

OMG! I can't believe someone else thinks this too! Look at pic's of couples who have been together for a while and I swear they'll look alike and have very similar facial structure. Holly and Rodney Pete look like brother and sister to me. TomKat looks sort of similar, both nuts! I can't think of any other celebrity couples right now but I do know alot of couples that share facial features. I also think that people subconciously choose mates that resemble family members.

I heard that you look for a guy that is like your father figure. I don't know, I notice I have things in common with my boyfriend's brother. We are both crazy and moody, and kidlish sometimes, while my boyfriend is older and more serious.

Well, sure, people can pass off as eachother, but that doesnt mean that they will. People WILL NOT look exactly alike. Even idenical twins have a difference.
