if you want other way you can connect your old hard drive to the new hard drive and copy files .

Well, I am not sure about the "free" part, but there's an easy way to transfer files. (or at least it seams easy to me.)
Get some blank CDs or a thumbdrive. Then put it into your old computer and just save all the stuff on it, then transfer it to the new computer. but this does take some time. but it's still pretty cheap, and easy.

Well the only way that i can think of that's free, would be to upload all your files to your email or use a site like esnips, which gives you 1Gb of free space on the net.
Then pug in your new computer and logon to the free site or your email and download everything

you can burn all the files you want on a CD and transfer them that way. or you can network the two computers together and do it that way.

I put mine on CDs or DVDs and can load them or use them off the CDs. Or you can put them on a USB "stick"-memory stick and transfer them over....
