Hi, without knowing what type of hose it is, firm, flexible?

I usually drop a table knife down the hose and keep working it until the clog comes free. If that doesn't work (and it is open on both ends) get your garden hose and feed it down your vacuum hose then turn it on full force and that will usually do the trick.

I have a long flexible vacuum hose that has clogged in the past. I have used both a broom/mop handle and a water hose to unclog it. If you use the water hose, be sure to hang the vacuum hose up and let it dry thoroughly before you use it again! GL!

Find a wire coat hanger....stretch it out and then bend a hook on one end. You should be able to get the clog out by using the hook to loosen it. Good luck!
