I am not a fan of unnecessary cosmetic surgery, and my answer would be not to have a nose job. Personally I think big noses look incredibly sexy on men, and make you look more individual and interesting. If you look like your avatar only with a big nose, my guess is you are really cute.

Well, if it really bothers you that much, you might even be able to get some sort of financial help with it as it is not just cosmetic but a psychological thing.
I personally think we should be happy with how we are made, but being ridiculed for something you have no control over isnt fair either. If you do it, just dont be drastic about it or it wont look right. You can have it slightly altered, so it still looks the same as your nose, but with say, smaller nostrils and smaller size;)
good luck hun.

I have thought about getting Rhinoplasty (nose surgery) myself. The only think that is stopping me is...
a.) I feel like i should be comfortable and except myself for who I am. I think natural beauty is important, and if I did get surgery i wouldnt feel like myself any more.
b.) The price, I have done some research online and found that the average cost is around $5,000, but depends on the patient.
I think you should try to think of how you will feel if you go on with the surgery and also will it fit into your lifestyle? Recovery takes awhile. But all together it is you choice.

If it brings phicological discomfort to you - go for the surgery (do the resarch on the hospital+give it a lot of thinking -nothing spontaneous + make sure the new nose you come up with matches your face + ask for advice from people who know what you look like). If it just came to you not lang ago - forget it. It's just what you feel like for the moment. Please be optimistic! People are all beautiful in their own unique way. The "unique" is what defines beauty.

Dude you're a guy. Chicks dig more the attitude than the looks, you dont need surgery. A Girl will be more attracted to your attitude than your looks. I mean look at all the ugly guys with hot chicks, like Seal with that super model!!! Seal has a huge ugly scar on his face but still managed to get one of the hottest chicks in the world. Then there's Kid Rock, he aint no model yet he's with Pamela anderson. Im tellin you dude a girl is more into the attitude and character than your face or any other part. Believe me you dont need surgery, if people dont like you for who you are then screw'm they aint worth it anyway.

You need to change your thinking first. I have heard of plastic surgeons who give patients surgery only to still have those "mental scars" there. You need to work on loving you, accepting you and getting those bad thoughts and things people say out of your head.
Then give it time. After working on your self-esteem and self worth for awhile, give it about a year. If you still want it done, then go make an appointment with a plastic surgeon and see what your options are. I would also make an appointment for a therapist if you need to work on certain issues to stop hating yourself. If you had a kid, you wouldn't want them thinking that about themselves, right? You probably will pass on your nose and you wouldn' ridicule your child for it, it may even be adorable on them huh?

we've 2 nostrils, each and each smelling somewhat distinctive smells: interior each and each nostril is a community of tissue which expands and shrinks, each and each nostril cycles this enlargement & shrinkage by way of the years (approx. an hour). while the tissue is greater, it slows the passage of air over the olfactory cells (the smelling issues , so as that chemical factors which dissolve slowly have extra time to be detected (smelt) by capacity of those cells. on a similar time as in the different nostril, the passage of air is faster, so as that the rapidly dissolving chemical factors are detected extra actual. this means that we've 2 nostrils, using fact each and each takes in air at distinctive speeds, to furnish a broader, extra precise experience of smell

well sweetie first of don't so it for others..If you feel uncomfortable with it you can get it done saying I want this for myself not for anyone else. It is costly. Make sure you do alot of check up on the Dr first. U don't want to jump to the first Dr because you are finally getting it done. Research first then take the step. Good luck to you and I hope you make the best decision based on what you think not what others think.

If there is a problem that constantly bothers you and it can be fixed, why not fix it? It doesn't necessarily mean that you're someone who obsesses about their appearance or is vain or whatever. Just make a deal with yourself that you'll only do the one procedure and get on with your life.
