I guess I have a lot to be thankful for. My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary this year. Lat year I was in the hospital during thanksgiving. I had a mild stroke that left me deaf in my left ear. I have not regained my hearing but am very thankful it was not any worse. We purchased out new home in March and now it is November and due to job cut back he and I both lost our jobs. Due to financial problems we are being forclosed on and are having to move from Alabam to Arizona in a week. I know this all sounds horrible but in the long run we still have each other and nothing that is thrown at us can bring us down. We look at this as a fresh new start. I am thankfull everyday that I am able to wake up and see the sun shine one more day. I am thankfull to have parents that are here for us and offer us shelter from the storm. I am thankfull for my friends who have supported us through the hard times. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own personal problems that we dont stop and realize there are people out there who have it so much worse then we do. I am thankfull to live in a country where no matter how bad it gets with a little effort you can get help. I am proud to be a free american to do what I want when I want. I am also glad to say that even if I screw up there is always a second chance to recover. I am thankfull that Hurricane Katrina did not damage us as bad as we thought and that our area is beginning to rebuild. Have a great holiday.

My husband...My marriage is what keeps me going on a day to day basis.

My daughter and her fiance...Both the memories that I have of her growing up, and those that will be made in their upcoming life together!

MY PARENTS!!!

My siblings and their families - what fun it is to be auntie!!

The fact that I have learned to detach myself from physical belongings (naturally I have them, but I no longer stress out about losing them).

The fact that I have a great boss and great coworkers who make coming into the office such a treat!

My physical health, such that it is (I could lose a few pounds!).

Did I say my parents? I know I'm really lucky to still have them in my life!

God has richly blessed me with Salvation, a fun husband, four kids and a new son-in-law. Also I have a home, a nice warm pellet stove, a black lab, and a kitten to cuddle with.
