Higher elevation is, obviously, higher than lower. It is more above sea level. The higher the elevation the more weather you have (i.e. snow)

The forces of gravity acting downward are higher at lower elevation, and the force of gravity at higher elevation are lower. The closer to the core (Lower elevation) Has a much higher force of gravity than on the top of a mountain.

The oxygen level is lower at higher elevations, also cooler temperatures, less insects, and it's futher down when you fall. 8~)

obviously one is higher relative to sea level. also the air is thinner as you elevate, making it harder to breathe. cooking times are different at higher elevations as well

Air pressure. Oxygen content of the air. Relative humidity of the air at varying altitudes (think: precipitation issues). Sun is stronger when the air is thinner (think: higher altitudes).
