Robin Yount (MIlwakee Brewers)and Al Kaline( Detriot Tigers)went straight to the Majors. NO minor league ball. Although when Al signed there was no draft.

It has happened often.. perhaps one of the better known time swas in 1978.. when the Atlanta Braves drafted Bob Horner on June 6th.. ten days later, after he signed his contract, he was playing for the Braves by not even spending a game in the minors.. he went straight from his college team (he was drafted in the 1st round in 1975 by Oakland, but chose college over baseball, thus Oakland lost their rights to him) He began the season June 16th, 1978.. played 89 games at 3rd.. batting .266 with 23 homers and 66 RBIs and won the Rookie of the Year award.. He spent another nine seasons, 8 with Atlanta, batting .277 with 218 homers..

Craig Hansen of the Red Sox pitched a little last year which is when he was drafted, and I believe Andrew Miller Pitched this year

I believe that Olerud did it for the Blue Jays. 1989 drafted out of Washington State and was in the lineup on Sept. 3rd

Many players have done this. However Robin Yount did play in the minors for one year, one of the other answers mentioned him.
