I've got naturally black hair and have always dreamed of going blonde. I don't have to worry about my colouring because I'm naturally pale skinned with blue/green eyes so I'm sure it would suit me. Trouble is it's likely to really dry my hair out and be a pain in the **** to manage. Is it worth it to have more fun?

I love being blonde, but if I had black hair it would be sooo hard to keep up on! Seriously!

What I would do if I were you : is go on Ebay or Sally's beauty supply or similiar and buy a really cool-looking real/looking blonde wig. Try it out, where it out to places and see how much you like it. There are different color blondes you need to see if they'd look good.

Ash blonde, is for paler skins it has grey in it to tone down golden tones.
Golden blonde is for tan skins, like a California girl.
Dark blonde
Strawberry blonde (tint of red in it)
Streaks (lighter and darker blonde streaks).

So you are pale skinned with light eyes, then Ash, lightest blonde would be you (a marilyn monroe-esque type look). But did you see Angelina Jolie? She has black hair, and went blonde for that one movie, she looks much better as a brunette/black haired woman.

for my section i love the blonde, I evidently have virtually black hair and, over 3 salon visits, had strategically placed highlights to bypass from very darkish brown to blonde. i extremely loved it! I had to placed on plenty a lot less make up and felt it made me look plenty hotter (with the right blonde!). i might want to incredibly propose going to a salon to get this finished though, they can propose you on the ultimate form of blonde on your pores and skin tone, that's conceivable to bypass blonde with out washing your self out through utilising a warmth blonde. also, it does damage your hair slightly so be prepared to mission each and every time you wash it and once a week or so, utilising a conditioning mask. strong success, wish you sense strong about regardless of determination you're making! P.S on the authentic of the day, that's a hair coloration so in case you favor to do it, do. If it would not artwork, basically get it fastened - oh, and purchase a large number of conditioner!

Take it from one who has walked this road, it is definately worth treading those boards, the knowledge you will aquire regarding human nature will be invaluable. You will quickly see how visual people are, how shallow and without substance. Don't do it yourself, go to a hairdresser. Do it, if you don't you will always wish you had and believe me it is an experience you will never forget. But, if you have any integrity yourself you will see through it all and return to your natural self, after all who wants adoration based on the colour of their hair alone.

This is going to be really high maintenance and you will have to do your roots constantly. It will drive you mad. I am a natural blonde and I dyed my hair dark brown and I have to dye it every month and have my eyebrows dyed. It drives me to insanity. I would not recommend it. Anyway jet black hair and pale skin is really attractive. I bet you look really nice. Look for other ways to have more fun.

Nope, you'll have a hell of a time keeping up with your roots and it will probably dry your hair to a frazzle, get a few foil wraps put through you hair and this will achieve a differant look, go for a nice warm colour nothing to mad to start with, you can keep adding to these foils so you can gradually go lighter and lighter.

If you wanna go blonde, go blonde! Take a risk, even though it may be a pain in the ****. But maybe consider even going as a brunette. Blondes don't have more fun.

Only you can decide....and are you old enough like over 18, or over 21.....and do you really want that change...if you do you can start with dark blonde.....or blonde highlights, till you really want to go blonde...

P.S. I did that 40 years ago and still blonde! When I was pregnant I didn't color it blonde, and everyone asked when I was going back to blonde, my natural color, imagine that?

Go blonde! If you don't do it now you'll always wonder if it is worth the trouble. Enjoy the experience and be confident in it.

God no...it will be so difficult to care for..you will have to dye your hair every few weeks at the roots and being so dark they will show all the more, and yes it will dry your hair out...Stay natural
