Well, take a deep breath and do it. You already know he isn't going to leave his wife for you. My guess is he made all kinds of promises and broke them all.
You should have never become involved but that is water under the bridge. He has used you, and will continue to take advantage of you as long as you let him.
What you may have felt, or still do feel for him is misplaced love, loyalty, and trust. He may have told you he felt the same but you know better.
Just end it, and if he tries to continue it tell him you phone his wife, his parents, his boss, his friends, and whoever and let the truth be known.

There are brighter days ahead. You CAN summon the strength to end this relationship, in which you have used. There are other fish in the sea who are unmarried, willing to make a commitment and offer you what you need and deserve.
I think it's best to go "cold turkey." After you tell him you want to end it, stop seeing him, block his emails and texting, don't answer his phone calls.
Rely on your girlfriends. Choose one or two gfs to call when you feel blue and lonely. They will get you through this.

Just talk to him and tell him it's over. It's difficult, but you have to distance yourself from him as much as possible. You say you're afraid to let go. You have to figure out why you're afraid and work through it.

You are actually one of those sluts who has the nerve to date a married man. Does it make you feel good about yourself that a man already in a relationship would date you? I think you are a scummy person and personally hope you go through hell to get out of this relationship and I hope his wife divorces him and takes everything he has.
